The first consultation will involve a full assessment, taking a thorough history, finding out more about your reasons for consultation and doing the relevant physical exam and investigations necessary. We will then work together to structure the best individualised treatment approach for you. Follow-up consultations will focus on monitoring your progress and adjusting your treatment plan as needed.
It is so important that I meet you in person. However, after your first consultation, follow-ups can certainly be arranged online if more suitable for you.
Dr Stephanie is contracted with Discovery Medical Aid; however, we are otherwise a cash-based practice. You will be able to claim back from your medical aid provider for the costs associated with consultation, depending on your selected plan. For guidance on the extent of cover, you should consult your specific medical aid and plan. Dr Stephanie is contracted out of medical aid rates.
